Welcome to Frederick Discovery School. FDS is located in Frederick, Colorado and was founded by two early childhood specialists, each with Master's Degrees in Early Child Education. The founders have a combined 15+ years of experience and are both Colorado-certified Large Childcare Center Directors. Frederick Discovery School is a fully licensed, all day, year round preschool offering education and care for newborns to 3 years of age.
After many years working in all types of corporate, commercial, and private centers, the Owner and Director both felt something was missing when it came to the children. They conducted additional research and designed a school where children thrive best..in a home environment where they feel safe and secure and are nurtured in a family type setting. At Frederick Discovery School we combined these nurturing elements with a stimulating environment that offers many age appropriate materials and activities each and every day.
